President, Owner

Pat Haynes, a Certified Personnel Consultant, co-founded Commonwealth Personnel Consultants (CPC) in 1985. It is one of the first female owned and operated recruiting firms in the Richmond, Virginia area.

After thirty years of operation, CPC remains a stellar example of a small business that has thrived. With a vast client database which includes over 20,000 professionals, CPC is a recruiting firm that can be trusted and relied upon to place the “right person in the right position.”

Pat has been very active in the greater Richmond community and has long-supported charitable organizations and small/woman owned businesses. She is past-president of the Richmond chapter of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and was the NAWBO National Board Representative for two years. She is also a past member of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce and the Henrico Business Council and a LMR (Leadership Metro Richmond) graduate. At The Doorways (formerly the Hospital Hospitality House) Pat is a past board member, and she was awarded Woman in Business Advocate of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Rachel Stone, Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor

Director of Operations

Rachel founded CCT (Commonwealth Computer Training) as a division of Commonwealth Personnel Consultants in September of 2001. At that time, Rachel was the only instructor as well as the Director. Initially offering only 20 classes in Microsoft Office and Windows 2000, today CCT has grown to offer over 120 classes in several computer & web-based programs, as well as soft skills training, custom-designed training, and skill testing, led by a team of experienced instructors.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Rachel currently delivers training seminars, writes training materials, designs custom training programs for clients, and she manages the daily operations of CCT

Amber Hornbarger, Microsoft Office Specialist

Administrator of Technology Services

Amber is in charge of all hardware and software installations and maintenance, including researching and troubleshooting equipment. She has also helped develop and implement successful marketing programs, including our company website and social media presence. One of Amber’s biggest contributions to CCT is her researching, writing and editing training materials.
